Powerlogic Systems, Protection, Monitoring and Control

Global Power & Control Systems offer complete installation and commissioning of the Schneider PowerLogic family of metering and mains monitoring devices.

The PowerLogic system is designed for industrial and commercial applications, large and small, to help manage the entire electrical network.

Ranging from small Power Meters, designed for use in distribution boards, to the Larger Circuit Monitors, used primarily in switch boards, there is a device for every point at which the supply needs to be monitored.

The complete system can be integrated on to the local Intranet and via the Software can be used to monitor Voltages and Power Quality in real time and also to provide historical data for values such as Currents, Power usage, and many others. Any of the historical reports generated can be saved in Web Page format (HTML) for viewing by any web browser software.

One of our engineers recently traveled to Spain to commission a system consisting of 10 devices monitoring the power supplies feeding a large production factory, Power supply availability being crucial to a facility which has four production lines, each producing 750 units every minute. In this case every minute of lost power can greatly effect production.

The future of this system is moving away from bespoke software into the realms of the WEB enabled device which are access via any Web browser software, from anywhere in the world, and can even send text messages in the event of an alarm.
